We stayed at this place last year on our way to the South of France; We were not disappointed on this second visit. We even had the impression that the Prestige room was better than the last time; Personnel is extremely courteous and helpful. The restaurant offers very good food and the breakfast buffet is convenient. What more can you ask ? We highly recommend it.

We had pleasant stay in Mercure Villefranche en Beaujolais. Good wine from this area and very good dinner made us cheerful end of work week. We were very surprised by Michelin awarded cuisine at Ici et La restaurant on site. Every course was very good and stylish and Pouilly Fussé was excellent. We can recommend even longer stay than we had. Just only narrow passes through the garage for our big car was little bit uncomfortable, but it was only one flaw.

We wanted to try for a first time Mercure hotel having been often to Novotel, Pullmann and Swissotel. This stay did not meet our expectation despite the fantastic restaurant it has. The room was certainly big four our family (2 adults and 2 kids) however despite requiring some refurbishment and improved isolation (facing railways) we were also somehow disappointed by the half-board offering. When arriving, we were informed the offer was only for the adults (so kids were extra) as so was also the breakfast when normally we often take breakfast offer for everyone. So not the greatest stay. But the restaurant on teh evening and the quality of the food was excellent and appreciated by the whole family! Next time we will look for probably the Novotel near by or other ones.

three days in this hotel for the second time in the last 5 years. A very good experience fueled by highly professional staff and a very good restaurant. Room (exclusive one) was large, not noisy and no vibrations even if fast trains line (TGV) a passing in front of the hotel.. A convenient underground parking is also available. City center is at 5 minutes walk.

Staff a Reception very helpful as were those in the restaurant. Room was acceptable but heating was slow to warm room up. Meal in the restaurant was good with steak cooked as requested. Breakfast selection was reasonable.

The only negative I have to say, is that til today 8 april, on my creditcard still is the amount of € 150,00 (date 22 march) reserved and I will ask them to correct this, because we have al ready payed the amount for the room before and diner has been payed by creditcard date 24 march! Next time I wil pay every thing cash. If every place to stay on your holiday will do this, you can't pay anymore with your creditcard.

This is a lovely hotel. Big well appointed rooms. Nice food at the bar and the restaurant looked lovely, though we were tired and late so just ate in the bar. A good selection of beer too! The only caveat would be that in some rooms the trains are quite audible, but they didn't keep us awake. Underground parking is good but the entryway is very tight so be careful.

Booked actually on route home from a very snowy French Alps and was very surprised at the quality of this Mercure Hotel! The staff were lovely and friendly, the room we had was stunning and quiet (view was a typical city hotel). We had the half board option and was not disappointed by the quality of the food - in fact quite the opposite. The best hotel food ever! All the waiting staff were attentive, smiley and obliging. The only down side was the 30 euro overnight parking charge which I felt was a bit excessive. But on the up side, our car was in a secure car park and being that we had a lot of skiing equipment and all important wine inside this was more important to us than 30 euros. Would we stay again - most certainly.

Nice hotel in an easy to get neighbourhood. The bedroom was just great and the staff too. Only small negative point, no heating in the bathroom. the breakfast was also great, varied food which made everone happy. We did not try the restaurant, too expensive for a family trip on holidays, but several good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Lovely rooms, staff and location. Only negative is breakfast-not worth €17pp hot food was cold and vending machine coffee. We didn't pay the €10 for our child in the end who had only an orange juice but still not worth the money. Other than that would recommend the hotel itself.

We did not stay long but a great quick lunch and very friendly staff, we were pleased to have quiet, comfortable and clean rooms after long day, even when we had arrived early our first day. Breakfast buffet is awesome but it's not free for sure. Convenient parking inside, but you can park outside also just down the street. Did not use the pool. next time

Great service, great room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Watch car height for parking if you have a roof box as car park underground. Close to rail line but noise minimal. Food option in bar more relaxed and good quality.
