Wonderful staff, facilities need some capital works

I stayed here for a fortnight. Firstly, the General Manager Denis is a great guy. He represents his hotel very openly and doesn't hide from feedback. Not does he ignore it. This perhaps, is the hotel's biggest asset. Sadly, Denis is leaving. I found that some of the facilities were badly in need of capital works. Very loudly bathroom in one suite and potentially hazardous in my opinion. The other suite I stayed in was great. The laundry staff were amazing and very diligent in their work. The female room service staff were cute, fun, sense of humour and very considerate. The food and beverage was just ok. Breakfast was invariably cold, as the chafing dishes were constantly left open. Trainees were commonly left unsupervised, couldn't speak English and found making an omelette difficult. Pans were not cleaned between egg dishes and were left sitting openly on benches. The food at night was ok, but orders were sometimes wrong or too spicy when no slice was requested. The bellboy staff were amazing and no request was ever too much. Always smiling, joking and having a bit of fun as well as being professional. The front desk staff were mostly wonderful, considerate and professional. I would say that the reception staff and one duty manager in particular need to understand that honesty with guests is ALWAYS the best policy. Because if you get caught out, the guest will usually leave with a bad taste in their mouth. Overall this was an above average experience. I find that managers such as Denis are rare and his mark on this hotel should not be understated. I also think the owner needs to revamp the guest rooms and suites and invest in training for managers and staff to make this a truly amazing experience.

We would like to especially thank front office manager Pongpan for making our stay so enjoyable. My husband says he has stayed at 30 Sukhumvit Hotels in the past 25 years and Novotel is one of the very best. We were there from Sept 26- 29. This was our 2nd stay and would book there again. Thanks to all the staff.

Always nice to be there. Very friendly staff. The only thing we were missing is the wonderful roof top bar. We hope for our next stay in Oktober it will be open. Always a pleasure to stay in Novotel for some days.

Fantastic staff and very clean hotel . Despite lack of business due to Covid the staff did all possible to ensure a good stay . Will use this hotel again . Quick check in , check out . Secure parking area . Shuttle to nearest BTS which is a few hundred metres away .

Our second stay at this hotel which is the best recommendation! Our room was comfortable. Breakfast good, but choice restricted due to Covid. Although many other hotels in the area it appears to have a loyal following.

got off to a bad start i did not book for myself, so no member benefits, or qualifying nights/points even though i recommended Accor to the agents who booked ? something maybe Accor could look at. the staff at the Bar / Restaurant deserve a special mention, they were excellent, friendly, approachable and went out of their way to make it a welcoming atmosphere.

I stay here for celebration 10th Wedding Anniversary.Upon checkin, I had to ask about Credit,benefits and make sure everything by myself. Upon stay TV no signal, Engineer came to fix but seems no service mind.

To begin with I was quite looking forward to stay at this hotel , however at the checkout there was a piece of paper on the desk informing guests that the sky bar would be closed for a private party and also the pool and pool bar areas. It would have been nice to know about this in advance , I would have chosen a different night to stay ( although on checkout the same info was being given for the night ahead) Seems rather inconsiderate if the hotel to to give any advance warning. Other than that the hotel was fine , just a normal business hotel in the city.

I stayed alone in Superior Room for 2 nights after hard working and need to relax. First impression, everywhere is very clean and safety. My room is comfortable, I like super soft bed and pillows so much. The bathroom is very good, shower separate from toilet. Breakfast is good and delicious. Moreover all staffs are very friendly and full of service mind. I like swimming pool, its size is enough for me. I’m sure to stay there again next time

I know Novotel and similar hotels from the Accor group in Europe, and I was surprisingly pleased by level - quality, especially for the price. I will return again, as it is both convenient, a nice place and a great location, . and in fact the room was very romantic !

I’ve stayed here 3 times in the last month and the experience has been consistently excellent. Safety precautions have been thorough, and the staff have managed to be outstandingly friendly and professional despite the pressure on them. Rooms are light and modern, and location is convenient for the BTS.

It's a beautiful hotel - breakfast is a bit odd but that is due to covid and not the hotel's fault. I did book a 3rd night at the front desk and directly said the reason was so that I could go up and see the sky bar - my original stay was for 2 nights. The third night was so that I could visit the bar on the 26th floor and have a meal and a drink. Unfortunately I was turned away because there was some private event up there and it was reserved. That was disappointing - I would have gone home already.
