Good customer service, you may store your luggage if you want to check in early, breakfast was good too, room 315 needs some repair on the bathroom door because it has some water damage, near (walking distance) to great museums and restaurants.

We stayed for my partners birthday and the hotel put out balloons, drinks, popcorn and a little card for him which was a lovely touch. Hotel was lovely, staff friendly and the room was nice and clean and spacious. My only gripes were the toilet cistern was so noisy after flushing it woke me up when my partner had to go in the middle of the night. Also there were so many smokers at the entrance to the hotel that we couldnt help but walk through the horrible smoke. Shame the staff didnt shoo them away. Look forward to staying again :)

There is a tremendous variation in quality between ibis hotels of the same nominal standard. In this case, front counter staff who didn't seem to know what they were doing or where to find things on the booking system. Beautiful modern brick built exterior but looked tired as soon as you got past reception. In the corridors, there was a strong odour of that horrible disinfectant that one associates with nursing homes and incontinence - surely there are better options. The room was clean and cosy enough, but the mattress was thin. I slept fitfully and awoke with aches that I hadn't gone to bed with. I was only staying one night and I was glad to leave the next morning. I was due to stay again two weeks later, this time for a full week, so I opted to cancel and pay more to stay at another location where I've never had a poor night's sleep.

The usual Ibis comfortable beds, decent breakfast and a clean efficient hotel. Excellent position for Albert dock and the start of the open top bus tours, an easy walk into the city centre and to China town.

The staff on reception took my requests into account. So I had the perfect room for my stay. I had a room on the top floor, with an amazing view and good wifi so I was able to work in the quiet room I had requested.

We arrived early to get the full day and went in to the hotel to sort out the parking and needed to change my babies nappy. I said we had arrived too early for check in but can we use the facilities to change my baby, then being told there are no baby changing facilities, you would hope/think if you are allowing families to stay these are a must? Having said this it was checked to see if our room was ready and it was and we were allowed to go in early. On entering the room I had email head asking that the single bed not be made and this had been acknowledged, this had been made up. We booked a family room with a cot so this showed we had a baby the door for the bathroom didn't my close properly which meant out baby could easily trap her fingers and the kettle and mugs were on a low accessible shelf with no where else to put this again another damager in a ‘family’ room. On returning to the room later that day the travel cot had been put up, on checking it out the mattress was not in a good condition and a towel had been used to try and disguise this, but again on going to reception to report this the issue was resolved very quickly. Even though the issues we had we resolved quickly I do not think this hotel caters for families with babies and would not recommend them.

The only minor issue was the cleanlinees of the bedroom. There were food crumbs on the bed side unit. We asked for a quiet room and it was perfectly quiet on the top floor. All staff wore masks making us feel quite safe.

This is usually a pretty good cheap option in Liverpool. This time the room I stayed in was rather strange, with a small sleeping area and a large bathroom. As a result, the 2 beds were squeezed in and blocked access to the desk and wardrobe. But it was clean, a comfortable bed and a pretty decent breakfast buffet for the price.

The hotel is in a great location for Albert Dock and the centre of Liverpool. It was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good, plenty of cooked fresh food. The room was pleasant and at the back so no road noise. The single beds did seem very narrow though. We had to get taxis everywhere as I had hurt my knee and the staff sorted them out quickly. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There was a pleasant outside area where we sat and had a few drinks and they served snacks. I would stay again.

Great location for access to the city, the Royal Albert Dock and the "Ferry 'cross the Mersey". Staff always keen to assist. Everything kept clean with special care taken during the pandemic. Breakfast fresh and plentiful.

Great location, friendly staff and great facilities in the hotel. The hotel was clean, tidy and we got to check in early. Only downside is if you have an EV vehicle charging point out of order and told it’s been like that for quite a while?

Nice little Hotel, rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and a small bar. Staff could be a little more attentive but thats about all I could find wrong with the place. And the location is perfect, opposite Albert Dock and 2 minutes from Liverpool One shops and the bus station.

Very clean rooms but for a twin room not a lot of room to walk round. Plenty of sockets but not with a mirror for drying hair or putting on makeup. There was a socket on the main walkway from the door, it needed a small table and a mirror above. That is the only criticism. Helpful and friendly staff

We stayed on night before taking a ferry. Location wax fab - right next to Albert Dock. Hotel was clean and tidy, staff friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast buffet. The room was comfortable and adequate for our needs. Would definitely stay again!

Had to visit Liverpool for a hospital appointment. The hotel is conveniently located close to the waterfront. The accommodation is of a good standard and everything was clean. In the current climate all the COVID-secure arrangements were in place

We have stayed in several IBIS hotels recently and tend to keep using them because the price is right and the location suits us very well. We are used to being welcomed with a smile. This time it was different. One of your staff was talking with a colleague - no problem, I can wait. When she was done she came to us and just said "Name?" No smile. No welcome. I also noted that the person who looked as though she was the manager (dark haired female about 40) did not seem very keen to smile at customers either. This attitude comes from the top, and needs to change. WE may stay in this Ibis once more, but if the reception is the same, we're going elsewhere. I once heard of a receptionist who was called "Director of First Impressions". This is exactly what a receptionist is and our first impression this time was not good.

Very friendly reception staff, good location, value for money. A little room for improvement, I was last here in this same hotel in 2016. The room still remains the same. It could do with a bit of upgrade (furniture). Minor issue, not a major complaint on my part. I could not connect to Wi-Fi on my phone, a per reception it might be phone issue. Did not face any issues connecting to Wi-Fi on my laptop. This also happened in another Accor Hotel (Aparthotel Adagio Liverpool). Perhaps something to check on

my wife and I have stayed here many times all without any problems, sadly not this time. as usual all the staff were efficient, polite, professional ,and helpful. a great location, on site parking, nice relaxed bar area. the main problems we encountered were in our bathroom. the door didn't fit properly, and the panel on the wall behind the wc was loose and rattled, on the first night it fell off revealing all the drain pipes and electric meter, this was reported and maintenance came quickly to put the panel back in place. however it remained loose fitting and rattled every ,night of our stay, to the point where everytime we opened the door we had to push the panel back into place. also the washbasin was very slow to drain away meaning even shaving took ages. finally I am very disappointed that dogs are now allowed to stay in the rooms as we were awoken most morning early by barking .it really is a shame as up until this stay we have always enjoyed our stays. but will have to consider alternatives from now on.
