It's impossible to sleep well in this hotel due to the music on some boat on the Nile in front of the Nile. The music stops at around 2.00am every night. The wifi doesn't work very well except if you are in the lobby. It's not convenient when you need to work. It's a pity because this hotel is well placed in the city.

We stay in Novotel Cairo centrum with friends. Large renovated rooms . Very weii educated persons in reception and very hepfull. Good breakfast with helpfull staff. Good location with amazing view to the river , even a little noise . I hope next time the hotel to serve alcool !

Internet on rooms and whole building was very slow almost dead; big issue for business trip Stay there on cold season, average 10c; AC on room very, very noisy and was not heating - need maintenance asap

LOCATION LOCATION WAS GOOD , but the staff not friendly WAS GOOD , but the staff not friendly , the problem with this hotel was the staff, they don’t have experience, how the dealing with gusts , you feel that with the first minute contact the reception time check in , you have to spend moor time , and when you get in your room , don’t wait your luggage you have to be relaxing, because they will stay more then two hours, to bring you luggage,

3 months after my last visit and the hotel continues to provide excellent service to its guests. Staff has been helpful, polite and professional. Room was immaculately clean every day. Some small ups and downs with the internet connection which I hope it will be fixed.

Loved every single about it … the river view is unbeatable … the rooms are perfect and totally clean… the reception staff are incredibly helpful esp Mirna with her heart-taking smile and hospitality and mr yehya who is totally understanding. Hope the net will be better but surely will come again

The Novel ElBorg Cairo has an amazing location in the heart of Cairo, when you enter the hotel you have the feeling of comfort because of the staff kindness and safety and security because of security staff and the Egyptian tourism police, the hotel has two restaurants one in the ground floor and the other one in the roof, there is a swimming pool in the ground floor which is very clean and tidy,the housekeeping staff are very efficient and helpful,the management team is welcoming, helpful and friendly,I recommend this excellent hotel to my family and friends.

Nice hotel we loved it clean room and good breakfast they used high quality ingredients only nobody helped us with our luggage me and my children had to deal with it no one even offered to help but we would love to stay again

Novotel El Borg hotel is located at nice place, it is perhaps good choice for the people who enjoy in noisy music almost all night. If you need some assistance from manager and reception staff, don’t expect too much. As frequent guest Accor hotels, I was requested prior and during booking to use Accor points. It was accepted during check in without any problem. 2 days prior departure, the lobby staff met me occasionally on the corridor and informed about some issue with my account. I was wondering why didn’t tell earlier by message in the room, email or phone as should be normal in such case. However I was called Accor service. The issue was existing password, so they proposed to change password and to send copy of my passport with burred data except name. I did it immediately and forwarded by email. The message from Accor customer assistant was in case of furteher trouble as quoted„ However, if you do not have the possibility to do so, you can go to one of our hotels to show you’re ID. This will enable them to check and confirm that you are the holder of the ALL account that is being suspended”. But it was not sufficient for Novotel staff, they rejected despite last message from Accor service in the mobile screen with open Accor account in front of desk staff, holding own passport as proof that I am owner.
