I checked in March 10,2022 This is the first time to stay at Novotel hotel the gate Abu Dhabi the hotel more than I expected , rooms very clean, very nice view and near to the Airport (just 10 mins drive ) i was coming from the airport and on the Reception I met Mr. Tayel , he is wonderful and helpful guy he understood how I and my son were very very tired and help us to check in the room early Really he made our day Big Thanks Mr. Tayel for your efforts and all the lovely staffs their Thanks Novotel for amazing stay sure I will come again

Reseptionists are far below the professional level, food is of the worst quality ever imaginable, cleanliness is mediocre. The location is though perfect and is close to all nearby attractive landmarks . Very frustrating stay for a so-called "Diamond member". Will surely not stay here again

It was one of the best one day stay. The room was amazing with a view to the creek and the city. The staff at the reception during checkin assisted with everything and also upgraded the room and was courteous.

We had the chance to stay for more than a month in this Hotel, and i only can say it was amazing. The staff was more than expected and went always a but beyond our expectations. The food was totally yummy and my wife and kids had a fantastic time during the whole stay. Thank you Novotel, was indeed amazing staying more than a month in this premises.

Hotel is good and rooms are nice. But the pillows are not comfortable at all and i had pain in my neck in the next morning. My check-in procedure was not good and it took around 30 min to get my room.

The hotel is on the main road not far from the international Airport. It Shows some signs of wear and tear, but is clean and the staff are very nice. It is also very close to the canal where there are several Restaurants in Hotels and the Souk and near the Grand Mosque.

“Amazing reception by Front desk .The Srilankan Front desk assistant [ i missed his name] was really helpful. The room was nice. Well laid out . Pool areas plentiful and options allowed for us to have peace and quiet but also enjoy the bar area . Breakfast Spread can be Improved but it was delicious .

Linens good be better and please provide appropriate pillows with pillow cases. Bedding was scratchy and only a continental pillow was provided. Wait to check in was quite lengthy even with online check in. Staff were very polite and accommodating.

Good facilities, decent room, good restaurants. Bad room policy which looks like cheating. As a gold member I should be receiving room upgrade upon availability. In other hotels even if next room level is not available they are giving one more level higher. In Novotel Gate In 3 week - long stays I did not receive any upgrade. Once I was given what was described as Deluxe room which was EXACTLY the same as superior. You do not benefit from gold status in this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay and the friendly service and staff. The hotel is modern and has all the facilities that you would expect of a property of this rating. The only slight downside is the distance to the main areas of Abu Dhabi but taxis are readily available and reasonably priced.

The Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate is a longish taxi ride from the Corniche and even further from the Louvre Museum but it has its compensations. The hotel is rather isolated as new developmenets in the Abu Dhabi Gate area are ust getting started eg the nearest ATM is in a filling stattion 500 metres away. BUT the hotel has a good Italian style restaurant (Gabbiano) with friendly and helpful staff. The Belgian Beer cafe has both a good selection of beers and good food. Top marks to the staff.
