The air conditioning would not cool the room. The bed was wore out and had a pad added to the mattress that could not be positioned properly. The lobby and eating area was hit as well. The people are great. Breakfast was not great at all, flies are everywhere in the buffet.

This hotel definitely needs some TLC. Two lights in my room didn't work. The bed seemed to sit on two different frames, with one side a couple of inches higher than the other. The furniture is scratched and the upholstery very dirty. The phone didn't work. The AC was pretty weak. All in all, not up to par with other Sofitel properties. The staff, however, were excellent.

I recently travelled to Morocco and was greatly surprised for the amount of infrastructure being built, as well as the modernization of the cities I visited. My stay in Casablanca was perfect, specially because I chose the right Hotel to spend the night. Nice hotel, close to most of attractions, dinner for the New Years Eve was wonderful but I cannot say the same thing about breakfast - I believe different chefs are in charge. For breakfast only omelets, bread, fresh orange juice and fruits were good, the rest - nearly without any taste. Salad - six balls with the different names to it but the content always the same in all of them! You also need to ask instructions how to operate with switches in your room, I mean for the lightning and making room. Staff friendly and nice.

Good hotel placed in the center of Casablanca. Good service and good rooms. Perfect view over the Medina towards the Mosque. High quality breakfast and dinner with high service. The trafic around the hotel is difficult.

The room was very spacious and was on one of the high floors with a great view over the medina towards the Hassan II Mosque. Staff were very friendly and helpful - for example activating Maroc Telecom SIM cards and adding credit. We had dinner in the restaurant on both nights and the food and wine was excellent. The menu options were extensive. The only thing of concern was the lady who welcomed us in the restaurant wanted a good review - she would have received one anyway as she was polite and friendly. It just made us feel a bit uncomfortable. The service in the bar was excellent too. Another minor issue was that the mini bar was barely stocked compared to the list in room and thought we would be charged for the missing items. We were advised that some items were unavailable hence why the mini bar was not stocked fully. In my opinion, it would be better to not stock the mini bar at all. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Our room was great - spacious, light and airy with great views. Unfortunately the food offering did not match our expectation. On the Friday of our stay, being Good Friday for Christians, we expected that with two highly acclaimed restaurants that fish would be available. However, one was closed and the other only offered a buffet which is never my choice of fine dining at any time but more especially given our ‘limited’ options. We were offered the bar as an option but having just had a drink in there were not keen to return given the high number of smokers which spoils the dining experience. Not really acceptable for a highly acclaimed international hotel group. Even worse was the lack of empathy and customer service to our concerns - it felt like that is all there is, so bad luck.

We had an overnight at the Tour Blanche last week. Check in was a bit slow--we had to sit in the bar and wait for quite a while for a room, which was annoying because we had paid extra for early check in. The room itself was small and basic, but with all the necessary bits. I liked that we had a separate loo and that there was a coffee maker. The view of the mosque was excellent and we were quite comfortable. The highlight of the hotel for us was the restaurant. The food and the service were both completely top notch and we would certainly stay again if only for the food! The waiters were fantastic. I've stayed at 5-star properties all over the world, but the staff here are a match for any of them. They had a perfect blend of professionalism, helpfulness, and sincere warmth that made us feel very welcome. We had dinner in the hotel and also enjoyed a continental breakfast there that was nothing short of amazing. I really liked the location as there was a market area across the street and another good restaurant, should we fancy variety, just around the corner.
