Очень порадовала звукоизоляция, не думаю, что найдется много отелей в Биарритце с такой опцией. Отель чистый, персонал улыбчивый, расположение отличное. Очень рекомендую

Предоставили не тот номер, что был в описании бронирования - с совмещенным СУ. Поменять смогли только на следующий день, так как свободных номеров не было. Общее впечатление от отеля - ремонт, чистота в ванной и в номере( Не приветливое ресепшн. К сожалению, здесь не добавить фото.

A nice stay in the center of town

Centrally located hotel within easy walking distance to most things. Breakfast was good and had a large selection and range. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but has an arrangement with a local nearby restaurant for evening room service. Car parking is next to hotel at 17€ a day. We had a pleasant stay.

The Mercure hotel, like the town of Biarritz is wonderful. I had a nice view of the ocean from my room. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was very complete. This is an excellent place in the center of the community activities including a great market.

Все было отлично, но мы жили в номере на троих, и он был очень тёмным. Туда практически не проходил дневной свет.

Worst Hotel Ever

A really bad hotel experience. When we checked in we were told breakfast was included but when we checked out the next morning they said it wasn't and charged us €18 each for a cup of coffee and a croissant. The toilet in the room smelled of cigarette smoke, the curtains didn't close properly so the room couldn't get dark and it was so noisy I had to resort to earplugs - the only time in my two week stay in France, which included 2 separate hotels in central Paris, that earplugs were needed. This was supposed to be a 'Superior' room. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Biarritz and I was glad I was only staying one night.

Regarding breakfast, there must be a misunderstanding as you receive yourself a booking confirmation via e-mail for a room without breakfast. Our receptionnists always give information for breakfast at check-in in case you change your mind and would like to have it. Our windows are soundproof but as we are located in the city center on the main place, there may be some nights more noisy than others. We regret it deeply. We hope to have the chance to welcome you again one day Kind regards

We booked a junior suite at Le President as a birthday treat for my wife. What a major let down ! The suite was small compared to others we have stayed in and the retro style bedroom and living area was not to our taste at all. Indeed for a hotel chain of this standing we could not understand how the quality of the furnishings seemed such poor quality. In contrast the bathroom was up-to date and the facilities excellent, however one of my wife's gripes was that , there were no complimentary toiletries, bathrobes or similar that one usually finds in a suite, especially at the price we paid. Indeed the toiletries provided were bog standard if you pardon the pun and we were really disappointed for the price paid. Also with a view over the car park this was not what I had in mind for her birthday. On the plus side the staff were very nice and our room kept spotlessly clean. Parking at 17euros a day in the adjacent car park was, I felt ok for the location. In summary whilst I appreciate taste is completely subjective unfortunately we were really disappointed with the suite, as it was relatively small, no view , and the interior retro design was to us nothing but tacky. I regret to say that at the price we paid overall this was the worse value I have encountered for a long time. As I stated previously the only redeeming features were the very friendly staff and the cleanliness which was faultless.

Disappointing room, mediocre breakfast

We were very disappointed at the small room & stupidly small twin beds which gave us a poor night's rest. Breakfast was very average. On departure we requested a refund for the price of breakfast (which we had pre-booked) as at Le Mans they advised us that we were entitled to free breakfast at our age in Mercure hotels. At Le Mans the refund was immediate but at Biarritz we were told it would need 'approval'.

Repeat visit to centrally located hotel. Chosen for location. Always take ocean view room. Service can be patchy in Biarritz, but this hotel's service tends to be consistently efficient at reception and in breakfast room, even if not particularly warm.

Nice hotel in centre of town

Nice hotel in good place just over street is Lafayette store, grande beach, cafes and shops. Breakfast was quite good (traditional french breakfast, but there was even plant milk) and very helpful Mr David.
